Coppertone Clearly Sheer Review

I received a free bottle of Coppertone Clearly Sheer SPF 30 to try and write an honest review on for BzzAgent.

Over Memorial Day Weekend when I was off work, Chris and I headed out to the lake for my first fishing trip of the year.  I was excited to get out fishing and on the boat again for the first time in 2 years.  I never went out last year because of my hand and having surgery (story here).  I was prepared to come home burned since I have always been one to burn the first time I go out on the boat.  I am pretty good about applying sunscreen when we leave, just not enough throughout the day.  I am also good at not covering all parts of my arms as you will see in the picture below.

We were out on the boat for a while before I did put on the Coppertone Clearly Sheer.  I avoided applying it at first since it was sprinkling, still cool out and I had on a jacket.  Once the rain cleared and it started to warm up I had on a t-shirt and applied the sunscreen to my arms and legs.  I of course being me, I only applied it up to my shirt sleeve and not any higher.  I knew the temperature was going to get up to the upper 80's to lower 90's so I also had on a tank top.  After a couple of hours and the t-shirt came off leaving me finally with one layer, being the tank top, I reapplied the sunscreen.  I put it back on my arms, legs and my chest.  I apparently didn't do a good job of applying it on my arms since I had a small area that got red and has tan lines of my fingerprints. I know the fingerprints are hard to see in the picture but they are there in the middle of my arm.  While it is good for your face and for sensitive skin, I did not put any on my face.  I had my usually facial moisturizer on that has SPF in it.

The Coppertone Clearly Sheer went on nice and smooth just like lotion and actually helps moisturizes your skin while protecting it from the sun's UV rays. It went on lightweight, has a faint citrus/floral scent and will not clog your pores.  Clearly Sheer is water resistant for 80 minutes.  It is available in a lotion or continuous spray in SPF 15 and SPF 30.  Clearly Sheer also comes in a Face Lotion that can be worn under your makeup.

Walgreens Changes Their Coupon Policy

Walgreens has changed their coupon policy and it is not good.  You can no longer use coupons on FREE items in their ad.  If you do you have to buy more items.  You can also no longer use a coupon for $1 off if the item is 99 cents.  They have the right to refuse the coupon or make the coupon 99 cents.  It will be at the discretion of the cashier.

Sara's Metropolis Big John's Haul

 Today is the day that Metropolis Big John's triples coupons up to $.75.  My total with out coupons would have been $258.22.  With my coupons I saved $194.16 and only had to pay $64.06!   I know a lot of people have asked what I buy and is it what is needed and what "normal" people buy?  That answer is yes.

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. I got to read Whole Latte Love by Rachelle Ayala.  I loved this book.

Here is why I loved it.  You have someone who wants everything to be her version of perfect.  Work hard for a great job, get paid well and find the business man that goes along with what you do in life.  Carina has just graduated and has an internship in Investment Banking.  Her job helps make business and money go round and round.  Carina works hard during her internship to get the job she wants after the internship is over.  She has to compete for the job as the only female in a male dominated work force.

Carina is need of a place to live.  She wants somewhere close where she can quickly get to work.  Her friend, Shelia knows someone who is looking for a roommate to help pay his rent.  Carina meets Dylan at the local coffee shop while women are swooning over him.  She doesn't want to live with someone who has a revolving bedroom door.  She wants to check all of her options first before she will consider it.  After checking out apartments with very low possibilities she goes to the last one not knowing who is answering the door.

Dylan is the local barista who also plays the guitar in a band.  While Dylan is well educated and can work for almost any major banking corporation he chooses to live the life he wants with no rule, go with the flow and help others who need help.  He can make the best latte with a coffee heart that anyone has ever seen.  Dylan volunteers with the homeless and helps get them food and places to live while also helping teach the teens how to garden.

When Dylan opens the door to Carina he knows she will be his roommate and so much more.  He has never meet anyone like her.  When she finally agrees with her and her rules each one knows it will be hard.  Dylan and Carina have a bond like no other that he will admit to while she denies it, because he has not job set in stone when he wants to go on tour with his band.

When roommates decide its time to be more and Carina's boss, who just happens to be Dylan's ex, things can get complicated.  Can they survive when they are put to the test?  That you will have to read and find out yourself.

BzzAgent is looking for some good men

Purex Dryer Sheets Review and Giveaway

Purex has come out with new dryer sheets.  The sheets are a lot like the crystals when it comes to fragrance.  These dryer sheets smell amazing.  I received a box of the Lavender Blossom.  The sheets give 30 days of long-lasting fragrance, reduces static cling and repels pet hair and lint.  I could tell a huge difference on the pet hair.  Bear is a Golden Retriever and constantly sheds and I am always finding his hair in the dryer.  When I took the first load out of the dryer his hair was almost non-existent.   Also I have not had as much static in the clothes.

I liked the smell of these dryer sheets so well that I put one under the seat in my car.  I love getting in the car and having a good clean lavender scent through out.
