Kroger shopper beware!!! Coupons policy is changing for the worse!

Kroger shoppers in the Delta Region, which includes Paducah, BEWARE!!!  Kroger announced today that they will no longer be doubling coupons in the Delta Region as of July 10.  They have already done this in other regions.  Bloggers from other regions have said that the lower prices is about the same as the coupons doubling. They claim they were saving about the same amount, but we will see.

In an effort to provide you with the most value for your dollar, we are updating our coupon policy and implementing a New Lower Prices program. Effective July 10, 2013, we are discontinuing our practice of doubling (up to 50 cents) manufacturer coupons in the Delta region. We will continue to accept manufacturer coupons and other coupons at face value, including: digital coupons, e-coupons, Catalina coupons and printables. We will also be investing additional resources into lowering prices for our customers on everyday items. We understand that this is a significant change. We hope that you come and see our new low prices – as well as the many other ways to save -- for yourself.

House Party

I have signed up for House Party about a year ago.  I have seen several other bloggers post about it and I signed up.  I have been frustrated with them for awhile now wondering if they were legit.  I kept seeing them post about people having parties, but I had not known of anyone personally to get an invite.  Some of the parties you have to buy the item(s) and have a party, take videos, pictures and write a review about the party.  Several of the parties are about food, beverages, books etc.  I have actually been chosen to host a party on July 13 at 5pm at my house.  I will have food from Morning Star farms.
